Kinsey Healy

From Arkansas and Texas, Mrs. Kinsey Healy settled in Tennessee after earning her Bachelor of Choral Music
Education and Master of Music from the University of Memphis. She has been the Director of Choirs at
Houston High School since 2018 and previously taught at Colonial Creative and Performing Arts Middle School in Memphis Shelby County Schools. Mrs. Healy serves as a Mentor Teacher for emerging choral music educators at the University of Memphis and has led seminars about vocal health and technique in her community and at the 2022 TnMEA All State Conference. Her choirs at Houston High School perform throughout their community and tour annually with their most recent destinations being  Prague, Vienna, and Ireland. Aside from her public school teaching career, she is an accompanist, church music director, and private instructor for voice and piano.
